Arab League calls to end Palestinian child suffering on World Children’s Day

The Arab League Organisation stressed that all Palestinian children have the right to live a safe life away from all causes of fear, displacement, and all forms of violence, according to a statement on Sunday in conjunction with World Children’s Day.

World Children’s Day, celebrated annually on November 20, is a global initiative promoting children’s rights, safety, education, health and happiness. It comes this year amid Israel’s war on Gaza.

The organisation condemned the inhumane and unconscionable acts of violence perpetrated by the Israeli aggression, as it will release a video documenting the arduous hardships and challenges faced by Palestinian children in Gaza.

Since the beginning the Israeli occupation, the death toll rose to more than 12,200, including about 5,000 children, 3,250 women, and 690 elderly people, while the number of injured reached more than 29,500, according to the Ministry of Health.
