EGP sees minor changes against USD on May 1

The Egyptian Pound (EGP) underwent variations against the US Dollar (USD) on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, prompting a wave of rate adjustments across various banks.

The National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr maintained their rates at EGP 47.87 and EGP 47.97, and EGP 47.78 and EGP 47.88, respectively. Similarly, the Commercial International Bank (CIB) kept its rates unchanged at EGP 47.90 and EGP 48.

Meanwhile, Banque du Caire updated their rates to EGP 47.85 and EGP 47.95, and the Arab African International Bank adjusted their rates to EGP 47.58 and EGP 47.68.

QNB ALAHLI revised their rates to EGP 47.57 and EGP 47.67, while The United Bank chose to keep its rates at EGP 47.85 and EGP 47.95.

In a divergent move, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank updated their rates to EGP 47.95 and EGP 48.05.
