Asian Markets Briefing 23/03/2023

The Chinese main index, SSEC, rose by 0.64 percent to 3,286.65, it opened at 3,258.78, and recorded a day high value of 3,286.65 throughout the day’s trade. The index recorded a day low value of 3,252.99.

The Japanese main index, however, dropped by -0.17 percent. Nikkei 225 closed at 27,419.61, after its opening value of 27,232.97. It recorded a day high value of 27,461.97 and a day low value of 27,175.63.

Hong Kong’s main index, HSI, climbed remarkably by 2.34 percent to reach a value of 20,049.64, when it opened at 19,619.74. The index recorded a day high value of 20,051.26 and a day low value of 19,523.50.
