Asian markets briefing 28/04/2023

The Asian markets closed high on Friday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, rising by 1.14 percent to close at 3,323.27. The index gained 37.39 points, recording a day high value of 3,324.88 and a day low value of 3,283.12.

Nikkei 225, Japan’s main index, climbed by 1.40 percent to close at 28,856.44, gaining by 398.76. The index recorded a day high value of 28,879.24 and a day low value of 28,499.51.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, inched up by 0.27 percent and gained 54.29 points. The index closed at 19,894.57, recording a day high value of 20,167.88 and a day low value of 19,879.07.
