Australia, Croatia sign double taxation agreement

Australia and Croatia signed a bilateral agreement to prevent double taxation, a move designed to stimulate trade and investment between the two nations.

The agreement is expected to provide significant tax relief across various income types, improve conditions for the exchange of goods and services, and enhance the environment for financial investments.

Both countries anticipate that the accord will contribute to increased economic activity. Negotiations for the agreement commenced earlier this year, with the first round taking place from February 26 to March 1.
