Australian construction activity remained stable in Q2 2024, with a slight 0.1 per cent increase compared to Q1, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) on Wednesday.
The rise was primarily due to a 0.5 per cent increase in engineering work during the June quarter, marking a 4.8 per cent growth compared to the previous year.
Conversely, building work fell by 0.3 per cent, showing a 1.8 per cent decrease from the same period last year.
