Bahrain enhances economic cooperation with Egypt by inking 11 MoUs

Egyptian Trade and Industry Ministry signed 11 agreements Tuesday with a number of Bahraini investors and organisations in different fields to enhance mutual economic cooperation within the coming period.

The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Egyptian Economic Business Women Council and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The MoU was signed by Afnan Rashed Alzayani from the Bahraini side and Rim Saim- Egyptian council’s president.  \

Egypt and Bahrain also signed two trade agreements between Alzayani – as a representative for Al Zayani Commercial Services S.P.C – and Super Solar Solutions Company, Ayman Rasekh.

Al Zayani signed another agreement with Wafik Shamma, a representative of Taya IT enterprise.

The fourth MOU was signed in the field of training and development of scientific research in fertilisers between Gulf Chemicals and Industrial Oils Company President Abdulrahman A. Hussain Jawahery and Abu Qir Fertilisers Company Chairperson and CEO Saad Abu El Maaty.

Both companies also signed an agreement on exchange of expertise, maintenance and safety, and preparation of feasibility studies for joint projects in the field of fertilisers.

The seventh MOU aimed at obtaining 10,000 metres in Egypt’s logestics zone for storage and re-exporting in Suez Canal region.

Egypt and Bahrain inked an MoU to build a factory for medicine and cosmetics in Egypt and another MoU was signed by Eva Beauty Salon. The MOU was signed by Khalid Rashid Al–Zayani, representing Barhain, and Eva Pharma CEO Riad Armanious, representing Egypt.

In real estate field, Egyptian Al-Rehab for Projects and Trade signed a cooperation protocol with Bahraini Nissan Construction Managing Director Fatima Dilawer.

The last MoU was signed between Bahrain Business Women Association and  the Egyptian Economic Business Women Council.
