Bank Audi Egypt Mulls Offering US$ 15 Mln For EgyptAir

Bank Audi Egypt considers contributing between US$10 million and US$ 15 million to the US$ 58 million syndicated loan arranged by Banque Misr for EgyptAir Company in order to buy two Boeing 737-800 from the Boeing Commercial Airplane Company, Seattle, USA.

EgyptAir Company signed a contract in 2009 with Boeing Company to buy 11 Boeing 737-800. After receiving two Boeing 737-800, EgyptAir will have 21 planes of this kind and 80 planes of all kinds. The 737-800 Boeing accommodates 160 passengers.

Bank Audi Egypt awaits the terms sheet of the EGP 3 billion syndicated loan arranged for Majid Al Futtaim Holding (MAF Holding) to finance the establishment of MAF Holding’s Mall of Egypt in Sixth of October City. Banque Misr is expected to finalize the terms sheet next week and decide whether Bank Audi will contribute to the loan or not.

Bank Audi Egypt also considers contributing to the EGP 2.9 billion syndicated loan to finance the expansion of the Mobinil’s cellular network and repayment of some of the operator’s debts.
