Banque du Caire celebrates first graduates of Fast Track Programme
Banque du Caire, one of Egypt’s largest state banks, has celebrated on Friday the first graduates of its Fast Track Programme.
BdC’s Fast Track Programme aims to help exceptional staff members develop the necessary skills for further career growth.
Successful graduates have witnessed unprecedented career boost given the rapid promotion scheme created to empower and encourage them. The 45 exceptional graduates were carefully selected through a rigorous selection process, including various testing methodologies.
“Fast Track was launched within the framework of an integrated plan developed by the Bank to support young cadres in various ways, starting with the training process, and preparing them to fill specialised jobs within the bank’s many sectors.” Tarek Fayed, chairman of Banque du Caire, said.
The program aims to prepare a generation of banking cadres that will take the lead in the coming years. Banque du Caire continuously increases its budget for training and development to ensure that its staff receives state-of-the-art learning, Fayed added.
Since 2018, budget for training and development at the bank had increased sixfold until 2022, he noted.
Sherin Amr, Banque du Caire’s Head of human resources and training department, said the first graduating batch from Fast Track Programme comes within the framework of the bank’s continuous efforts to upscale the employees’ skills.
The programme has achieved its desired goals, to build capacities, develop and invest in the skills of young cadres to speed up the path of promotions, Amr stated. Therefore, it would motivate employees to work harder and further showcase what they are capable of accomplishing.
