Banque Du Caire plans EGP2bn for Egypt’s Energy, Transport Sectors

Banque Du Caire is studying pumping 2 billion Egyptian pounds (around US$280 million) in a number of fertiliser, petrochemical, oil and transport projects within 2015.

According to Ayman Mokhtar – General Director of the bank’s Corporate Credit Sector- Banque Du Caire has achieved a landmark success throughout 2014 in arranging multiple syndicated loans, notably in the Egyptian oil sector.

The bank had arranged and marketed several syndicated and direct loans to fill the urgent needs for petroleum products.

The banking official stated that Banque Du Caire had taken part in direct and syndicated loans for oil sector totalling 2.230 billion pounds during 2014.
