Banque Misr issues 1-year saving certificate with 25% interest

Banque Misr has launched a new 25 percent annual yield saving certificates to be spent at the end of the period, or 22.5 percent to be spent monthly, according to bank’s statement on Wednesday.

Egypt’s second largest public bank has confirmed that this certificate has been provided since the beginning of today’s work in all bank branches and all electronic channels.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has announced on Tuesday an increase in net foreign exchange reserves by about $500 million, to reach about $34 billion by the end of December 2022, compared to $33.5 billion during the previous November.
