A bomb exploded near Egypt’s High Court where Egypt’s top prosecutor’s office lies, in central Cairo on Monday resulting in several injuries, state television reported.
Yesterday, a blast targeting security forces in Upper Egypt’s Aswan governorate left two people killed and 11 injured.
Militants have escalated attacks targeting security forces in several parts of the country since the military ouster of Islamist President Mohamed Mursi in July 2013, which followed mass protests against his rule.
