Egypt’s Supply Ministry Coordinates With CBE to Ease Food Commodities Import

Egyptian Ministry of Supply coordinates with Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) in order to facilitate administrative procedures and open letters of guarantees to ease importing processes of food commodities for producers and importers, said Khaled Hanafy – the minister- on Monday.

Hanafy added that ministry’s coordination with the Central Bank aims to provide massive amounts of different food commodities to be available in markets before the Holly Month of Ramadan.

During his meeting with number of commodities’ producers and importers, the minister clarified that Egypt is witnessing stability in commodities’ prices long time ago.

Moreover, the producers and importers affirmed that they would provide all commodities like meat, poultry, fishes, butter, oils, diaries, beans, lentil, and others within the upcoming period.
