Calls Upon the Minister to Develop Communications Centers

The General Division of Communications Centers, affiliated to the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, emphasized that it will present a memorandum to Eng. Hani Mahmoud, Minister of Communications and Information Technology for developing communications centers.

Ihab Said, Head of the Division, stated that the memorandum includes developing the mechanisms of communications centers across the Republic and providing new services that can create new job opportunities for young people, in addition to calling upon the Minister to hold a meeting with representatives of various communications centers located in different governorates.

He explained that the Division will work on preventing random sales of mobile lines and prepaid cards by presenting a memorandum to the three mobile operators in Egypt (Vodafone, Mobinil, Etisalat), to reconsider the organization of the market, pointing out that  the priority must be given to the communications centers.

He added that the division currently comprises representatives of the communications

Centers in 14 governorates and seeks to spread awareness in all governorates of Egypt by establishing communications centers there under the supervision of the General Division.
