CBE: Egypt Banking Sector’s Total Loans Hit EGP541.3 bln by May-End

The total banking sector loans of banks have hit a record around jumping to EGP 2.4 billion (0.4%) , moved up by EGP 541.3 billion in May 2013, compared to EGP 538.9 billion in April 2013.

The loans of the Egyptian governmental banks have hit a record around jumping EGP 574 million (1.6%) moved up by EGP 35.5 billion in May 2013 compared to EGP 34 billion in  the same year. According to CBE’s latest reports

While the non-governmental institution loans have hit a record around jumping EGP 1.8 billion 0.6%, moved up by EGP 505.9 billion compared to EGP 504.04 billion.
