Central Bank of Egypt Auctions EGP6 T-bills Tomorrow

On behalf of the Egyptian Finance Ministry, the Central Bank of Egypt will launch Sunday new short term Treasury bills (T-bills) worth 6 billion Egyptian pounds (around US$839.1 million).

Bids will be held in two tranches, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

CBE will be offering T-Bills totalling EGP 6 billion on Sunday, of which EGP 2.5 billion will mature in 91 days and EGP 3.5 billion will mature in 273 days.

Within this August, Egyptian government is planning to offer debt instruments at value of 63.5 billion Egyptian pounds, compared to 78 billion launched last July.
