China probes chemical dumping by EU, US, Japan, Taiwan
China’s commerce ministry is investigating possible dumping of POM copolymers, a type of industrial chemical, imported from the European Union, United States, Japan, and Taiwan, Reuters reported on Sunday.
POM copolymers are engineering chemicals that can be used as a substitute for metals like copper and zinc. They are widely used in various industries, including auto parts, electronics, and medical equipment.
The ministry said in a statement that the probe is expected to take one year to complete, with a possible six-month extension.
