China releases new guidelines for green transition acceleration

The Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council have released on Sunday new guidelines to accelerate the country’s green transition across all sectors of economic and social development.

The objectives outlined in the guidelines include achieving significant progress in green transformation by 2030 and establishing a green, low-carbon, and circular economy by 2035.

These efforts are aimed at meeting the “Beautiful China” goal, reflecting the nation’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.
