China’s foreign smartphone sales experienced a 2.7 per cent increase year-over-year in July, including Apple’s iPhone, according to data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).
The data showed that sales of foreign-branded phones rose to 2.38 million units in July, up from 2.315 million units a year earlier.
Overall phone sales in China experienced a more significant surge of 30.5 per cent to 24.2 million units during the same period.
