China’s non-manufacturing sector PMI rose to 53 in March 2024, up from 51.4 in February, signalling expansion, Xinhua reported on Sunday.
The service sector sub-index increased to 52.4, showing growth for three consecutive months.
Construction activity also improved, with the sector’s sub-index reaching 56.2 in March.
Business activities in non-manufacturing sectors in China continued to strengthen, with services like mail, satellite transmission, and finance experiencing rapid growth.
Construction projects across the country accelerated after the Spring Festival holiday, boosting confidence in the industry.
