China’s yuan-denominated loans surge to $1.89t in 7 months

China’s yuan-denominated loans expanded significantly during the first seven months of the year, reaching a total of 13.53 trillion yuan ($1.89 trillion), according to central bank data released on Tuesday.

Furthermore, the country’s broad measure of money supply, M2, grew by 6.3 percent year-on-year to reach 303.31 trillion yuan at the end of July.
