A bunch of Chinese firms study establishing 15 factories in the third phase of Al-Robeky Leather City, 54km (33.5 miles) east of Cairo, said Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Amr Nassar on Saturday.
“The 15 factories will be built on a space of 40,000 metres,” Nassar made the remarks during an inspection tour in Robeky City.
The minister was accompanied by a number of representatives of the Chinese firms and Magdy Ghazi, Egyptian Industrial Development Authority’s (IDA) head.
“The Chinese firms are keen on pumping new investments in Al-Robeky Leather City,” Nassar said.
