CIB’s stocks hit lowest level in 28 months early Tuesday

The Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) saw its stock taking sharp nosedive to its lowest level in 28 months.

By 11:00 a.m., the heavyweight stock declined by 2.1 percent to 54.06 Egyptian pounds, its lowest level since December 2018.

About 752,400 shares were exchanged at a turnover 40.13 million pounds.

The EGX30 index dropped by 1 percent to 10,345 points, while the EGX70 EWI fell by 0.71 percent to 1,955 points.

The market’s turnover registered 250.4 million pounds, while the trading volume reached 132.4 million shares.
