Commerce Chambers urges Egypt’s oil ministry to pump more 1.1mn butane gas canisters

Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) urges petroleum ministry to pump additional amounts petrochemical products from the beginning of next September.

Head of Petroleum Products Division at FEDCOC, Hossam Arafat stated Wednesday that the ministry would have to inject more 1-1.1 million butane gas canisters to cover local demand and consumption during Eid al-Adha.

The official made these remarks on the sidelines of division meeting on Wednesday.

He further urged the ministry to inject 20 million litres of benzene and 45 million litres of diesel fuel daily.
