Commercial International Life Insurance Posted EGP 500 Mln Premiums

The Commercial International Life Insurance Company (CIL) posted premiums of more than EGP 500 million in FY 2011/2012.

The value of compensations exceeded EGP 15 million at the end of last June. The Company achieved profit of about EGP 450 million in the last fiscal year. The CIL targets to increase the volume of premiums by 25% to reach EGP 625 million in FY 2012/2013.

It is worth noting that CIL has more than 40,000 customers, besides managing about 130 insurance programs for companies through providing them with innovative pension programs, in addition to providing life insurance coverage for more than 213,000 employees.
