Constituent Assembly To Hold Hearing Session Next Sunday

Shehata Mohamed Shehata, Chairman of Egyptian Center for Integrity and Transparency, said the Constituent Assembly to draft constitution will organize a session next Sunday in the headquarters of the assembly in Shura Council, for hearing the challenges that filed against its formation  before the Administrative Judiciary Court.

Shehata said he was informed by a phone call from Dr. Mohamed El Beltagy, a leading member in Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), and a member in the Constituent Assembly.

The First Circuit of the Administrative Judiciary Court, headed by Judge Abdel Salam El-Nagar, decided last Tuesday to adjourn 26 lawsuit, which are calling for annulling the second formation of the Constituent Assembly, till Saturday 8th September, on a private session to take the necessary procedures.
