Cooperation Agreement Signed Between Egypt’s Canadian Chamber, MRA

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt has signed a cooperation agreement with Mining Renaissance Association (MRA) to utilize the mining sector and attract more foreign investments, especially the Canadian ones, to work in the sector.

Dr Fayez Ezz El Din, Head of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, has elaborated that the agreement also aims at transferring modern technology through supporting the joint ventures between Egypt and Canada in the field of mining; particularly establishing industrial mining complexes in Egypt’s provinces. It also aims to cooperate in having specialized studies to to establish whipping mining ventures.

The chamber, relying on its relations with the Global Business Society (GBS), will promote for a number of investing opportunities in Egypt’s Mining sector. Furthermore, it will review the results of the studies that should be done in the upcoming period.

Ezz El Din has revealed that the Canadian chamber will organize a mission encompassing a number of Egyptian companies operating in mining sector to visit Canada so as to participate in PDAC2013 conference, which will be held in Toronto next March. This conference promotes for the investment opportunities in the mining sector.
