Dollar Steadies Against Egypt Pound, Yen Surges 1%: Early Trading

During the early trading of Tuesday, the US dollar’s exchange rate steadied against Egyptian pound in banks at EGP 6.9176 for buying and EGP 6.9477 for selling.

On the other hand, the pound sterling has surged to EGP 10.5162 for buying and EGP 10.9867 for selling, compared to Monday’s levels of EGP 10.499 for buying and EGP 10.9694 for selling.

The Japanese yen’s price also went up as the ¥100 hit on Tuesday EGP 6.9809 for buying and EGP 7.2911 for selling, compared to Monday’s levels of EGP 6.9102 (buy price) and EGP 7.2151 (sell price).

Meanwhile, the exchange rates of Euro and Swiss franc dropped against the Egyptian pound. Euro fell to EGP 8.9871 for buying and EGP 9.3895 for selling, compared to Monday’s levels of EGP 8.9891 for buying and EGP 9.3909 for selling.

For the Swiss franc, it also fell to EGP 7.3508 for buying and EGP 7.6849 for selling, compared to Monday’s levels of EGP 7.3571 for buying and EGP 7.6907 for selling.
