Dubai International rated best airport for layovers

Dubai International (DXB) was chosen on Thursday as the world’s best airport of layovers for various services and ultra-luxury shopping.

The airport was also chosen for its lounging and dining experiences that it offers its passengers.

According to Simple Flying, the airport offers brands such as Hugo Boss, Tiffany & Co., Rolex, and others, which gave it its rank as the best airport for layovers.

It also has a 24-hour fitness centre, a locker room equipped with showers, a large pool, as well as open-air gardens.

Those who are staying long can enjoy Snoozecubes, which are soundproof pods with beds and touch-screen TVs.

“It is the frontline services delivery team that is responsible for delivering that excellent service that puts us in our own class above a lot of other airports around the world,” said Paul Griffiths, CEO at Dubai Airports.

Other airports in the list’s top five include Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Munich International Airport, Hong Kong International Airport, and Hartsfield-Jackson International.
