East Port Said Development to receive 1 million sqm in Suez canal axis
East Port Said Development company is set to receive one million metre square from the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) during the current year reaching a total sum of 1.5 million sqm, its General Manager of Commercial Affairs, Ahmed Al Mufti said.
He told Amwal Al Ghad that the company gradually received the lands after Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) and Armed Forces Engineering Authority has completed the soil treatment works of this area.
East Port Said Development Company is responsible for the development, management, and marketing of the East Port Said Industrial Zone, which has a total area of 16 million sqm. It is assumed that the development process will take place in several phases.
East Port Said Development company has already hand over 500,000 meter square to BAG East Port Said and Gerda Egypt to establish two new plants with investments of up to €70 million.
In addition, the company is negotiating with four national and international firms to invest in the project during the upcoming period .
