The UK’s biggest mobile operator, EE, saw revenues slip 1.1% to £1.469bn in the first three months of this year. The firm, about to be taken over by BT if a regulatory investigation approves it, has 30 million customers. EE said it was “firmly on track” to reach its target of 14 million 4G subscribers by the end of the year after it added 1.7m new connections in the first quarter.
