Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) says it plans to deliver natural gas to 600,000 housing units, with investments of two billion Egyptian pounds ($112.9 million) within the financial year 2018/2019.
In 2019, the company also targets 9.4 million units in different governorates across the country at the end of financial year 2018/2019, said EGAS’s chairman Osama El Bakly on Tuesday.
“The company also seeks to deliver natural gas to 100 factories and 1,000 commercial customers, transfer 15,000 cars to operate in gas, and establish 10 new gas stations,” El Bakly added during the general assembly’s meeting to approve the company’s financial year 2017/2018 budgeting.
