The Egyptian pound (EGP) weakened slightly against the US dollar (USD) on Sunday, December 15, 2024, with exchange rates varying across major Egyptian banks.
The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr set the buying rate at 50.86 Egyptian pounds and the selling rate at 50.96 Egyptian pounds.
At Qatar National Bank (QNB), the US dollar was traded at 50.82 Egyptian pounds for buying and 50.92 Egyptian pounds for selling.
Commercial International Bank (CIB) offered a higher buying rate of 50.87 Egyptian pounds and a selling rate of 50.97 Egyptian pounds, making it one of the highest rates among banks.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt recorded a buying rate of 50.84 Egyptian pounds and a selling rate of 50.94 Egyptian pounds.
Meanwhile, the Arab African International Bank offered the most competitive buying rate at 50.80 Egyptian pounds, while the selling rate stood at 50.90 Egyptian pounds.
