EGP15 mln New Production Line For Washing Machines In Oct City

The International Company for Engineering Industries started the processes of establishing a new production line for La Grande factory, specialized in producing washing machines, in the industrial zone of October 6 City, at EGP 15 million investing cost.

Yasser Mohamedy, Director of the International Company for Engineering Industries, told Amwal Al Ghad that it is expected that the new production line will be operated in May 2013 to meet the increasing demand on La Brande products in the coming period.

He commented on the current political situation and its reflection on the industrial activity; saying there is a remarkable decline in demanding new production lines after the protests in Tahrir Square, and due to the instability in the Egyptian street.
