EGX announces trading hours during Ramadan

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) announced the trading hours during the holy month of Ramadan in a statement on Thursday.

The daily session for the main market, small to medium-sized enterprises market, and the treasury bills trading sessions will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, preceded by the discovery session starting at 9:30 AM.

Closing price auction to be held from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM with a variable closing time between 1:23 PM and 1:25 PM.

Large deal market order registration at 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM, corresponding orders: 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM.

Accounts splitting from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.

Unlisted securities trading: Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM (orders) and 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM (deals).
