EGX closes all red on Oct 20

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the red area on Sunday.

The main index, EGX30 went down by 2.04 per cent, to 29,528.79 points.

The Shariah index, EGX33 dropped by 2.20 to 3,083.19 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 fell by 1.85 per cent, to 7,526.14 points.

The index, EGX100 index sunk by 1.77 per cent, to 10,588.74 points.

The total market cap reached 2,120,128,798,223 Egyptian pounds.

The Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with 2,421,327,141 Egyptian pounds, and 305,839,722 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the None-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 2,727,166,863 Egyptian pounds.

Top gainers on Sunday

  1. Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) shares rose by 11.96 per cent, to close at the price of 0.702 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. Misr Cement (Qena) (MCQE.CA) shares climbed by 10.37 per cent, to trade at the price of 29.800 Egyptian pounds a share.
  3. M.B Engineering (MBEG.CA) shares jumped by 10.00 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.750 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Sunday

  1. Rights Issue Of Aspire Capital Holding for Financial Invest (ASPI_r2.CA) shares fell by 9.38 per cent, to close at 0.058 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. The Arab Dairy Products Co. Arab Dairy – Panda (ADPC.CA) shares declined by 7.83 per cent, to close at 2.590 Egyptian pounds a share.
  3. Memphis Pharmaceuticals (MPCI.CA) shares dropped by 7.81 per cent, to close at the price of 53.590 Egyptian pounds a share.
