EGX closes all red on Oct 28

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the red area on Monday.

The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.13 per cent, to 30,773.53 points.

The Shariah index, EGX33 sunk 0.58 to 3,187.64 points.

The SMEs index, EGX70 fell by 0.08 per cent, to 7,916.83 points.

The index, EGX100 index dropped by 0.15 per cent, to 11,124.96 points.

The total market cap reached 2,219,710,049,147 Egyptian pounds.

Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with 447,122,754 Egyptian pounds, and 131,988,278 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners were sellers with 579,111,033 Egyptian pounds.

 

Top gainers on Monday

  1. El-Nile Co. For Pharmaceuticals And Chemical Industries–Nile1 (NIPH_r1.CA) shares  rose by 25.09 per cent, to close at the price of 42.130 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. Arab Valves Company (ARVA.CA)  shares climbed by 10.47 per cent, to trade at the price of 2.110 Egyptian pounds a share.
  3. ODIN Financial Investments (ODIN.CA) shares jumped by 9.39 per cent, to the purchasing price of 1.980 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Monday

  1. Arab Pharmaceuticals (ADCI.CA) shares fell by 8.47 per cent, to close at 106.180 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. Rights Issue Of Aspire Capital Holding for Financial Invest (ASPI_r2.CA) shares declined by 6.78 per cent, to close at 0.055 Egyptian pounds a share.
  3. Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) shares dropped by 5.34 per cent, to close at the price of 3.370 Egyptian pounds a share.
