Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Tuesday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 1.44 per cent, to 28,967.09 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 1.06 per cent to 3,039.57 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 climbed by 0.19 per cent, to 8,011.58 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 0.22 per cent, to 11,036.55 points.
The total market cap reached 2,144,769,693,878 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 6,761,004,759 Egyptian pounds, and 12,073,023,069 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs were net buyers with a total of 18,834,027,828 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Tuesday
- Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing (RUBX.CA) shares climbed by 14.72 per cent, to close at 11.070 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The Egyptian Company for Construction Development-Lift Slab (EDBM.CA) shares jumped by 12.83 per cent, to close at 0.387 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Digitize for Investment And Technology (DGTZ.CA) shares surged by 8.65 per cent, to close at the price of 2.890 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
- Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) shares declined by 7.03 per cent, to close at the price of 55.310 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Obour Real Estate Investment (OBRI.CA) shares fell by 5.11 per cent, to trade at the price of 7.800 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co (IDRE.CA) shares dropped by 4.99 per cent, to the purchasing price of 19.620 Egyptian pounds a share.
