EGX starts week in red area on 13 Sept 2026

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the red area on Sunday.

  • The benchmark index, EGX30, went down by 1.09 per cent, to 55,664.79 points.
  • The Shariah index, EGX33, dropped by 0.64 per cent to 6,712.59 points.
  • The index EGX35-LV sank by 1.09 per cent to 6,923.07 points.
  • The SMEs index, EGX70, plunged by 0.98 per cent to 21,192.67 points.
  • The EGX100 index fell by 1.04 per cent to 27,705.07 points.

The total market cap reached 4,365,737,015,984 Egyptian pounds.

Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 84,093,468 Egyptian pounds and 42,937,959 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Arabs were net sellers with 127,031,427 pounds.

Top gainers

  1. The shares of National Printing surged by 20.00 per cent, closing at 36.000 Egyptian pounds per share.
  2. The shares of Delta For Printing & Packaging rose by 20.00 per cent, reaching 361.760 Egyptian pounds per share.
  3. The shares of Tanmiya for Real Estate Investment went up by 11.60 per cent to close at 7.310 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers

  1. The shares of Grand Investment Capital went down by 9.89 per cent to close at 48.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. The shares of Mohandes Insurance dropped by 7.85 per cent to close at 36.650 per cent a share.
  3. The shares of The Arab Ceramic CO.- Ceramica Remas dropped by 6.06 per cent, to close at 1.550 Egyptian pounds a share.
