EGX closes in red on March 31

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed all in red on Sunday.

The main index, EGX30 dropped by 2.45 per cent, to 26,883.39 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 fell by 3.51 per cent, to 6,174.24 points.

The index, EGX100 declined by 3.43 per cent, to 8767.55 points.

The total market cap reached 1,811,970,100,239 Egyptian pounds.

Egyptians transactions were mainly buying with 2,226,614,679 Egyptian pounds. Meanwhile, the Arabs and Non-Arabs Foreigners were net sellers with 723,673,473 Egyptian pounds, and 1,502,941,206 Egyptian pounds, respectively.

Top gainers on Sunday

The shares of National Housing for Professional Syndicates (NHPS.CA) rose by 19.98 per cent, to close at the price of 44.730 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool (GTWL.CA) climbed by 10.11 per cent, to trade at the price of 28.650 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of El ezz steel (ESRS.CA) jumped by 7.77 per cent, to the purchasing price of 63.810 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Sunday

The shares of Medical Packaging Company (MEPA.CA) fell by 19.56 per cent, to close at 1.810 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of TransOceans Tours (TRTO.CA) declined by 17.07 per cent, to close at 0.034 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of International Co For Investment & Development (ICID.CA) dropped by 13.62 per cent, to close at the price of 2.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
