Egypt’s stock market closed mixed on Tuesday. The main index, EGX30 declined by 1.65 per cent, to 27,587 points, while the small to mid-sized enterprises’ index, EGX70, rose by 0.18 per cent to 6,497.4 points, and the EGX100 dropped by 0.42 per cent to 9,217.21 points.
The total market cap reached 1,963,658,095,933 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians’ and Arabs’ transactions went towards selling with 4,810,960,728 Egyptian pounds, and 486,086,357 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arabs were net buyers with a total of 5,297,047,085 Egyptian pounds.

The shares of AJWA for Food Industries company Egypt (AJWA.CA) climbed by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 75.850 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Development and Engineering Consultants Co (DAPH.CA) rose by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 50.190 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA) soared by 15.08 per cent, to close at 2.129 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
The shares of Egyptians For Investment & Urban Development (EIUD.CA) declined by 32.59 per cent, to close at the price of 0.091 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Orascom Development Egypt (ORHD.CA) dropped by 5.48 per cent, to close at 12.430 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of GB Corp (GBCO.CA) fell by 5.05 per cent, to close at the price of 9.020 Egyptian pounds a share.
