Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly in green notes on Thursday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went up 0.06 per cent to 37,677.19 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, fell 0.01 per cent to 3,785.39 points.
- The index EGX35-LV advanced 1.10 per cent to 4,201.59 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose 0.76 per cent to 11,654.08 points.
- The EGX100 index added 0.60 per cent to 15,364.41 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,692,287,946,675 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with a total of 1,870,654,483 pounds, and 2,195,769,366 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with 4,066,423,849 pounds.
Top gainers
- Shares of Raya Customer Experience went up by 10.79 per cent to 11.600 pounds a share.
- Shares of The Amer Group Holding rose by 8.87 per cent to 1.350 pounds a share.
- Shares of South Cairo & Giza Mills & Bakeries jumped by 8.85 per cent to 178.540 pounds a share.
To losers
- Shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment dived 4.29 per cent to 4.460 pounds a share.
- Shares of Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance sank 3.38 per cent to 149.280 pounds a share.
- Shares of Creast Mark For Contracting And Real Estate Development fell 2.76 per cent to 0.423 pounds a share.
