Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in mixed on Tuesday.
The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.06 per cent, to 30,427.35 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.04 per cent to 3,189.05 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 jumped by 2.34 per cent, to 7,861.84 points.
The index, EGX100 index climbed by 1.80 per cent, to 11,048.26 points.
The total market cap reached 2,182,841,383,777 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 357,283,472 Egyptian pounds, and 11,729,465,868 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, The Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 12,086,749,340 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Tuesday
- Sharm Dreams Co. for Tourism Investment (SDTI.CA) shares climbed by 20.00 per cent, to close at 18.840 Egyptian pounds a share.
- MM Group For Industry And International Trade (MTIE.CA) shares jumped by 13.02 per cent, to close at 7.380 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Arab Real Estate Investment CO.-ALICO (RREI.CA) shares surged by 11.89 per cent, to close at the price of 1.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
- Middle & West Delta Flour Mills (WCDF.CA) shares declined by 12.13 per cent, to close at the price of 280.750 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Abou Kir Fertilisers (ABUK.CA) shares fell by 9.19 per cent, to trade at the price of 57.480 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Oriental Weavers (ORWE.CA) shares dropped by 7.22 per cent, to the purchasing price of 32.240 Egyptian pounds a share.
