EGX closes on green note on June 27
Egypt’s stock market closed green on Thursday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.97 per cent, to 27766.27 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 climbed by 0.50 per cent to 2736.18 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 increased by 0.31 per cent, to 6197.41 points.
The index, EGX100 index jumped by 0.30 per cent, to 8988.05 points.
The total market cap reached 1,876,316,254,881 Egyptian pound. 1,876,316,254,881
The Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 2,265,175,848 Egyptian pound. Meanwhile, the Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 1,999,102,027 Egyptian pound, and 265,554,839 Egyptian pound, respectively.
Top gainers on Thursday
- The shares of Rights Issue Of Al Tawfeek Leasing Company (ATLC_r2.CA) rose by 19.32 per cent, to close at the price of 1.192 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Engineering Industries (ICON) (ENGC.CA) climbed by 8.70 per cent, to trade at the price of 20.24 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Memphis Pharmaceuticals (MPCI.CA) jumped by 7.13 per cent, to the purchasing price of 89.86 Egyptian pounds a share.

- The shares of Egyptian Arabian (Themar)Comp. For Securities & Bonds Brok. EAC (EASB.CA) fell by 19.36 per cent, to close at 3.04 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) declined by 12.71 per cent, to close at 0.261 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing (RUBX.CA) dropped by 5.71 per cent, to close at the price of 4.29 Egyptian pound a share.
