Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed red on Tuesday. The main index, EGX30 dropped by 0.34 per cent, to 27,194.51 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 sunk by 0.51 per cent, to 5,968.61 points.
The index, EGX100 index dipped by 0.57 per cent, to 8,630.52 points.
The total market cap reached 1,833,589,375,741 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptian and Arabs were net sellers with 822,254,449 Egyptian pounds, and 1,493,001,703 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 2,315,256,152 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Tuesday
- The shares of Digitize for Investment And Technology (DGTZ.CA) climbed by 13.41 per cent, to close at 2.030 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of B Investments Holding (BINV.CA) jumped by 9.04 per cent, to close at 20.500 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of CI Capital Holding For Financial Investments (CICH.CA) surged by 5.79 per cent, to close at the price of 4.750 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
- The shares of QALA For Financial Investments (CCAP.CA – CCAPP.CA) declined by 15.38 per cent, to close at the price of 2.090 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co (IDRE.CA) fell by 4.99 per cent, to trade at the price of 13.320 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) dropped by 4.89 per cent, to the purchasing price of 60.120 Egyptian pounds a share.
