Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday.
The main index, EGX30 jumped by 0.45 per cent, to 28,783.24 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 climbed by 0.19 to 2,781.37 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 soared by 1.74 per cent, to 6,608.91 points.
The index, EGX100 index went up by 1.41 per cent, to 9,507.08 points.
The total market cap reached 1,967,464,035,402 Egyptian pound.
The Arabs and Non-Arabs Foreigners were net sellers with 1,237,304,050 Egyptian pound, and 4,215,514,957 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 5,452,819,008 Egyptian pound.
Top gainers on Sunday
- The shares of Maridive & oil services (MOIL.CA) rose by 14.04 per cent, to close at the price of 0.390 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of QALA For Financial Investments (CCAP.CA) climbed by 12.95 per cent, to trade at the price of 2.180 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Iron And Steel for Mines and Quarries (ISMQ.CA) jumped by 11.79 per cent, to the purchasing price of 4.550 Egyptian pound a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- The shares of Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) fell by 17.61 per cent, to close at 6.970 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) declined by 5.21 per cent, to close at 4.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Acrow Misr (ACRO.CA) dropped by 4.93 per cent, to close at the price of 48.830 Egyptian pounds a share.
