EGX ends week in green on 14 April 2026

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) ended the week in the green zone on Thursday.

The benchmark index, EGX30 went up by 1.39 per cent to 51,437.78 points.

The Shariah index, EGX33 gained 0.46 per cent to 5,387.18 points.

The index EGX35-LV added 0.30 per cent to 5,588.38 points.

The SMEs index, EGX70 rose 0.43 per cent to 13,385.26 points.

The EGX100 index leaped by 0.58 per cent to 18,748.74 points.

The total market cap reached 3,539,940,045,347 Egyptian pounds.

Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, with total purchases of 1,360,582,311 pounds and 54,112,230,101 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net sellers with 55,472,812,412 pounds

Top Gainers

  1. Shares of Gourmet Egypt.Com Foods soared 20.00 per cent to 13.800 pounds a share.
  2. Shares of Orascom Investment Holding climbed 8.97 per cent to close at 1.580 pounds a share.
  3. Shares of ASEC Company for Mining – ASCOM jumped 7.67 per cent, closing at 44.360 pounds a share.

Top Losers

  1. Shares of Subscription Rights of AL Khair River for Development Agriculture Inv-1 sank 5.33 per cent to 0.213 pounds a share.
  2. Shares of Elsaeed Contracting and Real Estate Investment Company SCCD fell by 3.52 per cent to close at 1.370 pounds a share.
  3. Shares of Misr Oils & Soap sank by 2.79 per cent, closing at 163.480 pounds a share.
