Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed mixed on Thursday, with the main index, EGX30 going up by 0.14 per cent, to 3,0631.8 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.17 per cent to 3,162.66 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 climbed by 0.68 per cent, to 8,340.11 points.
The index, EGX100 index went 0.55 per cent higher, to 11,522.45 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,248,575,517,778 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs were buyers with a total of 633,148,577 Egyptian pounds. On the other hand, Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 106,991,962 Egyptian pounds and 526,156,615 Egyptian pounds, respectively.

- Shares of Mansourah Poultry (MPCO.CA) climbed by 16.67 per cent, to close at the price of 1.610 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Mena Touristic and Real Estate Investment (MENA.CA) jumped by 12.28 per cent, to trade at the price of 3.750 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Digitize for Investment and Technology (DGTZ.CA) surged by 11.67 per cent, to the purchasing price of 3.350 Egyptian pounds a share.
