EGX Gains L.E 3.4; Tuesday Closing

On Tuesday’s closing session, the EGX posted gains L.E 3.4 billion as the capital market amounted to L.E 361.999 billion.

The main index, EGX 30 went up 1.57% to close at 4985.32 p. EGX20 rose 1.89% to close at 5800.25 p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 surged 0.62% to close at 455.83 p. Price index EGX100 raised 1.14% to close at 792.14 p.

Traded volume reached 102.518 million securities, at a value of L.E 425.871million, exchanged through 25.306 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 181 listed securities; 52 down and 115 up while 14 keeping their previous levels.
