EGX Introduces New Timing For OTC Trading Session

Egyptian Exchange has made modifications to the timing of Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading session to be from (12:30 till 01:00 p.m.) instead of (02:45 till 03:15 p.m.).

EGX Chairman Mohamed Omran has noted that the new modifications made to the OTC session timing come within the framework of making the best use of time as well as resources and of securing the interests of all the market parities.

The new modifications came to effect on Monday’s trading session (September 17^th). Noting that, OTC trading session are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.
